Delegation and Participants

DPM Dar is leading the Pakistani delegation at the SCO meeting, which will also host heads of government from Belarus, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. Additionally, the vice president of Iran, as well as the foreign ministers of Pakistan and India, will participate in the discussions.

The conference will also include representatives from Mongolia, Bahrain, Egypt, Qatar, Kuwait, and Turkmenistan, along with leaders from regional organizations including the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO), and the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).

Bilateral Meetings

The Foreign Office has indicated that DPM Dar will engage in bilateral discussions with leaders from other SCO nations during the meeting, aiming to explore various mutual interests.

Earlier this year, the SCO summit was held in Tianjin, China, from August 31 to September 1. Following that event, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that Pakistan is set to host the next SCO summit.
