MULTAN, Oct 01 (APP): A two-day training programme on “Professional Development and Modern Broadcasting,” organized by Radio Pakistan Multan, concluded on Thursday.
The programme was held on the directions of Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar to enhance the professional capabilities of Radio Pakistan’s presenters, comperes, newsreaders, interns and radio jockeys, and to familiarize them with emerging trends and techniques in broadcasting.
Prominent broadcasting professionals Professor Khalid Wakeel Khan, Khurshid Ahmad Malik, Manzoor Kamran, Asif Khan, Riaz Mailsi, Dr Khalid Iqbal, Sajjad Ahmad Bari and Engineer Abdul Waheed conducted sessions on presentation skills, voice modulation, programme production, digital media and other aspects of modern broadcasting.
Speakers at the concluding ceremony stressed the importance of continuous professional development and the effective use of emerging technologies to keep pace with the changing media landscape.
The participants lauded the initiative of Minister Attaullah Tarar and Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC) Director General Saeed Ahmad Sheikh, saying the training had given them valuable professional insight and practical skills. They resolved to apply the knowledge gained to improve the quality of their work.
