In a recent press conference with Prime Minister's Coordinator Ikhtiar Wali, Minister of Information Atta Tarar expressed strong criticism of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Suhail Afridi, stating that he has lost his administrative credibility and control over his party.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister: Declining Political Influence

Tarar pointed out that Afridi has been ineffective in his administrative role, and now faces political challenges as well, stating, "The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) long march lacks preparation, and the event scheduled for September 27 has ended up being a mere distraction."

He emphasized the deterioration of PTI's power, declaring, "The party has never been as weakened as it is now, and it is in complicity with terrorists, hesitating to condemn their actions. Our police and security forces are making sacrifices in the fight against terrorism, and we stand firm in our resolve to eradicate it completely."

Strong Words for PTI

Addressing the PTI’s stance on terrorism, Tarar challenged the party, saying, "If you have the courage, proceed with your long march." He accused PTI members of avoiding condemnation of terrorist activities.

Support for Palestine

In his remarks, Tarar commended Prime Minister’s speech at the United Nations General Assembly, where he defended the Muslim Ummah. He noted that Palestinian representatives lauded the Prime Minister's address, affirming Pakistan's support for their cause. He mentioned, "Aid has been provided to Palestinians, and steps have been taken to facilitate medical education for Palestinian students in Pakistan."

Tarar further highlighted that the Prime Minister’s speech received global appreciation, and reasserted Pakistan's unwavering support for Kashmiris under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir. He revealed that the American President shared a clip of the Prime Minister's speech on social media, emphasizing Pakistan’s emerging role as a mediator between the U.S. and Iran.

Critique of PTI's Communication

Ikhtiar Wali criticized PTI's lack of organization ahead of the planned march, questioning their readiness and the truthfulness of their announcements. He pointed out that there was no contact with transport providers for the September 27 event, accusing PTI leaders of disappearing when called upon.

This discourse reflects the ongoing political dynamics in Pakistan, particularly focusing on the challenges faced by the PTI amidst rising criticisms from the current government.
