This partnership not only aims to enhance students' educational experiences but also prepares them for impactful careers in the fast-evolving fields of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
Formalization of Collaboration
On September 25, 2023, a formal Letter of Intent (LoI) was signed between IUB and Enablers during a ceremony at the university’s campus. The agreement was executed by Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran on behalf of IUB, along with Enablers’ CEO and Co-Founder Saqib Azhar. This collaboration was facilitated by Dr. Faheem Mushtaq Bajwa, the Chairman of the Department of Data Science and the focal person for this initiative.
Objectives of the Partnership
This collaboration is designed to strengthen the link between academia and industry, emphasizing career development opportunities for students. Key initiatives will include internships, industry visits, expert speakers, mentoring programs, and professional networking opportunities aimed at skill enhancement. Crucially, the arrangement provides avenues for practical exposure in various fields such as Data Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Generative AI, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Data Visualization.
Under this partnership, both organizations will work together to conduct workshops, boot camps, seminars, guest lectures, and hands-on training sessions. These efforts will equip students with the crucial skills necessary to thrive in today's job market.
Entrepreneurship and Innovation Promotion
In addition to technical skills, the collaboration will promote a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation through startup awareness sessions, hackathons, and innovation challenges.
